Ms. Lena Grote is an all-source intelligence analyst for the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC) in Orange County, California.  As the lead tactical intelligence analyst, Ms. Grote conducts a multitude of trainings in the Orange County Area of Responsibility, including international terrorism threat intelligence analysis, case support to all-crimes investigations, incident response, and incident prevention.

Prior to working with the OCIAC, Ms. Grote was employed with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Office for Bombing Prevention TRIPwire program, where she monitored, analyzed, and developed reports on rapid-paced improvised explosive device-related incidents.  In addition, she has worked with DHS’s National Protection Programs Directorate’s (NPPD) Office of Cyber and Strategy and supported Critical Infrastructure Protection. 

Ms. Grote is a certified Social Media Security Professional (SMSP).  She holds a bachelor of arts degree in international studies and Arabic from Indiana University.
